Munich, get ready for a high-voltage psychedelic voyage! AlterLatinX and CHUCUCHUCU present Descarga Tropical — a night of pure electrosabor straight from the heart of Colombia to the dancefloor of Import Export.

Conjunto Medialuna
Directly from Bogotá, the electrifying Conjunto Medialuna, the solo project of musician and producer Iván Medellín (Romperayo, Hermanos Menores), whose main inspiration are the accordion music of the Montes de María region in Colombia and the new cumbia aesthetics in the context of cities in Latin America and the world such as Monterrey, Buenos Aires & San Jose California, among others. The musical foundation of CML is the traditional acordeón colombiano, but their timbreexplorations have led them to incorporate synthesizers, samplers and drum machines into their sound.
Cósmica Bandida
From right here in Munich, the vibrant tropical force of Cósmica Bandida, a Colombian-German duo blending hypnotic rhythms, raw energy, and afrobeat textures into a wild futuristic sound experience. Their live performances are immersive rituals where distorted guitars, looping melodies, and deep percussion intertwine with thumping basslines, engaging both the body and the spirit.
Superzona & La Pinche Tefi
And to keep the fire burning, directly from Catatumbo: Superzona, spinning heavy-hitting loco beats, deep cuts, and dancefloor killers from across Latin America y el mundo entero, together with La Pinche Tefi, who curates a remarkable 45 RPM vinyl selection featuring new and old hidden pearls that can go from obscure cumbias to deep Afro grooves and Latin soul or merengue.

Afrodelicia
Just in time for sunset Afrodelicia makes its European debut blending ancestral rhythms with cutting-edge global sounds in an immersive hybrid performance with live percussion. It transforms the dance floor into a collective ritual, a celebration of rhythm and the constantly evolving African-descendant heritage. The project presents itself as a Traveling African Music Discotheque where each session becomes a portal to the vibrations of the mother continent and its cultural ramifications around the world.
FĚRA & MISTER REED
At feeding time for the creatures of the night FĚRA and MISTER REED invite you to a dancefloor journey for those ready to move beyond the ordinary. Born at 2,600 meters above sea level FĚRA conjures deep rhythms, raw sabor and echoes from mountain temples, every beat born in Colombian soil – from the coasts to the highlands. Eclectic yet precise, her wild set calls for big lungs, loose hips anduntamed hearts. MISTER REED builds sonic and cultural bridges between Munich, Bogotá and the Caribbean. Cooking up a sweaty, sticky set spiced up with a few of his own productions he shares some of the gems he encountered shifting between worlds.
