[DE] Maria Moctezuma, mexikanische Liedermacherin, ist im künstlerischen Aufschwung auf nationalem und internationalem Niveau. Sie diffundiert autochthone und kontemporäre Kulturströmungen Mexikos durch ihre Musik. Ihr künstlerisches Schaffen verbindet lateinamerikanische, prähispanische und kontemporäre Rhythmen mit hispano-amerikanischen und zeitgenössischen Instrumenten, was das aus ihrer Feder stammende Genre Raizoso hervorbringt. Mit mehr als zehn Jahren in der Musikindustrie und drei Alben auf dem Markt ist Maria Moctezuma eine der aktuellen Vertreterinnen der neuen mexikanischen Musik. Ihre Show ist eine Begegnung der musikalischen Wurzeln Mexikos und einer Mischung moderner lateinamerikanischer Rhythmen, die Instrumente und Elemente der autochthonen Kultur retten. Ein Bossanova / Cumbia, ein Jarana / Rock oder ein Polka / Reggae, begleitet von den Timbres einer Tonflöte oder einer Riesen-Meerschnecke, sind einige der Überraschungen, die das Publikum in den Bann ziehen. [EN] Maria Moctezuma, Mexican singer-songwriter, is on an artistic upswing at national and international level. She diffuses the autochthonous and contemporary culture of Mexico through her music. Her artistic work combines Latin American, pre-Hispanic and contemporary rhythms with Hispanic-American and contemporary instruments, founding the genre Raizoso. With more than ten years in the music industry and three albums on the market, Maria Moctezuma is one of the current representatives of new Mexican music. She arrives from Mexico and presents her new album “Xmajaná”. In her show with loop station, she plays live guitar, voices, acordeon, clay flutes (ocarinas), pan flute (zampoña), ceremonial snail and small percussions. The show will make the public get involved in a journey of contemporary Mexican magic and culture.

[DE] Fanfara Station ist ein Trio, welches die Kraft einer Blaskapelle mit Elektronik, nordafrikanischem Gesang und Percussion verbindet. Fanfara Station ist ein Trance-induzierendes Fest mit einer ganzen nordafrikanischen Rhythmusgruppe und pumpenden Electro-Dance-Beats, die das Tempo bestimmen – alles kreiert von nur drei Musikern, dank geschicktem Einsatz von Loop-Stationen und Live-Overdubbing eines Arsenals von Instrumente. Fanfara Station ist eine Hommage an die epischen Heldentaten der Migranten aus dem Mittelmeerraum, die Musikkulturen der afrikanischen Diaspora und die alten Verbindungen Südeuropas zum Nahen Osten, dem Maghreb und Amerika.
[EN] Fanfara Station is a trio that brings the power of a brass band and electronics to North African vocals and percussions. Fanfara Station is a trance-inducing celebration with a brass band, an entire North African rhythm section and pumping electro dance beats setting the pace – all created by just three musicians, thanks to some skillful use of loop stations and live overdubbing of an arsenal of instruments. Fanfara Station pays tribute to the epic feats of the Mediterranean’s migrants, the musical cultures of the African diaspora and southern Europe’s ancient links to the Middle East, the Maghreb and the Americas.
Kabus Kerim (Turkey, DT)
[DE] Kabus Kerim ist in der Türkei schon eine Legende – eine Inspiration und Wegbereiter für eine neue Generation von türkischen Sound- und Beat-Tüftlern! Bereits Anfang der Neunziger, als eine Hälfte von Karakan, den ersten türkisch-deutschen Rappern, produzierte Kabus erste Beats mit Samples türkischer Gastarbeiter-Klassiker. In Deutschland untergründig, erlangte Kabus Kerim in den späten Neunzigern mit dem deutsch-türkischen HipHop-Kollektiv CARTEL Superstarstatus in der Türkei. Mit seinen stilprägenden Sets – einem Mix aus anatolischem Funk und HipHop-Beats – gehört er neben Baris K. zu den wichtigsten und einflussreichsten türkischen DJs und Musikproduzenten und ist nicht nur in Istanbul regelmäßiger Gast in den wichtigsten Clubs und auf Festivals.
[EN] Kabus Kerim is already a legend in Turkey – an inspiration and pioneer for a new generation of Turkish sound and beat inventors! Already in the early nineties, as one half of Karakan, the first Turkish-German rappers, Kabus produced his first beats with samples of Turkish guest worker classics. Founded in Germany, Kabus Kerim achieved superstar status in Turkey in the late 1990s with the German-Turkish hip-hop collective CARTEL. With his style-defining sets – a mix of Anatolian funk and hip-hop beats – he is one of the most important and influential Turkish DJs and music producers alongside Baris K. and is not only a regular guest in the most important clubs and festivals in Istanbul.

[DE] Aufgewachsen in zwei „Funky Towns“ – München und Istanbul – erforscht Süperfly aka Tuncay Acar die tiefsten Tiefen des Norientalismus, indem er permanent die Grenzen von kulturellen, ethnischen, geographischen, chronologischen und fiktiven Regionen und musikalischen Genres überschreitet. Das Ziel ist es, die omnipräsente Dominanz von Identitätskonzepten in der Tanzmusik zu dekonstruieren, um Platz zu schaffen für die unbefangene transkulturelle Ekstase. Seine exquisite Vinylsammlung erweitert er durch digitale Fundstücke aus verschiedenen Genres: Kurdischer Halay, Gazinomüzik, Arabesk, Anatolian & Arabian Psychedelia, Electro- und Hip Hop-Mashups, Edits und Remixes von mediterranen und nahöstlichen Psychedelic-Klassikern, Schlager aus der Türkei, Griechenland, dem Nahen Osten, Israel, Ägypten, Maghreb, Nordafrika, dem Balkan und auch aus Memphis/Tennessee amalgamieren zusammen mit einer Prise Latin Boogaloo im Sud der Leidenschaft und der Hitze des Südostens.
