Goblyns
Based between Amsterdam and Berlin, Goblyns masterfully blend funk, soul, krautrock, and psychedelic hooks. Their sound is driven by sticky, syncopated drum-and-bass grooves and powerful, fuzzy riffs. The (mostly) instrumental trio—made up of brothers Liam and Francis Broek and longtime friend Giovanni Votano, all born and raised in Gqeberha, South Africa—jumped onto the scene in 2023 with the EP This Is Spaghettification. They joined Crazysane Records to release their debut LP, Hunki Bobo, in May ’24, which was met with wide critical acclaim. Since then, they’ve toured Europe and released another impressive album, Three Sisters, in June ’25, introducing Francis’ sweet vocals to the mix. Drawing influence from bands such as The Meters, W.I.T.C.H., CAN, and Kikagaku Moyo, these melomaniacs concoct a sonic purity that resists being nailed down. A third record is set to be recorded in early 2026.
Booty Carrell
Booty Carrell is the DJ alias of Vinyl archaeologist, Golden Pudel resident and outernational deejay Sebastian Reier. Carrell does his research in the deep spaces of the vinyl universe. He digs into the second wave of musical
globalization. And he sets off where musicians around the world have started to melt regional traditions with a western gesture. Be it in Turkey, Iran, Romania, Pakistan, France or even Germany — Carrell is known to deliver minority pop and neglected world hits that can turn the world upside down.
