[DE] Ein Abend für den Libanon im Zeichen von Musik, Perspektiven und Solidarität. Wir öffnen die Türen für alle, die die aktuellen Entwicklungen im Libanon mit Aufmerksamkeit, Sorge oder Verbundenheit verfolgen. Ein Raum, um nicht allein zu sein. Ein Abend zum Zuhören und zum Teilen. Für Menschen aus dem Libanon, ihre Freund:innen und alle, die solidarisch an ihrer Seite stehen.
Über 800.000 Menschen sind im Libanon auf der Flucht, weite Teile des Landes sind zerstört. Die humanitäre Hilfe stößt zunehmend an ihre Grenzen. Lokale Organisationen und Gemeinschaften haben alles beiseitegelegt, um den Vertriebenen im Libanon Schutz, Nahrung und die dringendsten Bedürfnisse zu bieten. Um diese Initiativen zu unterstützen, organisieren wir diesen Musikabend. Die Einnahmen gehen an das Solidarity Network Lebanon.
[EN] Music for Lebanon. It’s time to show up, Munich! Gather all your people, bring your friends – we are hosting a solidarity community concert and party to fundraise for support local organizations and communities that have put everything aside to provide shelter, food, and address the urgent needs of the displaced people in Lebanon. All proceeds from the evening will go to the Solidarity Network Lebanon.
Salma M’rabet + Ludwig Himpsl
[DE] Die Oud-Spielerin begleitet von Ludwig Himpsl in Percussion und Sängerin verbindet tunesische Klangtraditionen mit Melodien des Nahen Ostens, bringt traditionelle Rhythmen in einen zeitgenössischen Kontext und spielt Lieder rund um das Mittelmeer.
[EN] The oud player and singer accompanied by Ludwig Himpsl in percussion blends Tunisian musical traditions with Middle Eastern melodies, placing traditional rhythms in a contemporary context and performing songs from across the Mediterranean.
Mosaïc Acoustic Quartet
[DE] Mosaïc Band ist eine dynamische Formation mit Wurzeln im Libanon, in Tunesien und Ägypten, die sich der Feier des Erbes arabischer Musik widmet. In der Verbindung von Tradition und modernen Einflüssen vereint die Band arabische Melodien mit Jazz, Funk, nordafrikanischer Folklore und mediterranen Rhythmen zu einem frischen und fesselnden Klang. Für dieses besondere Konzert präsentiert sich Mosaïc in einem akustischen Quartettformat.
[EN] Mosaïc Band is a dynamic ensemble with roots in Lebanon, Tunisia, and Egypt, dedicated to celebrating the heritage of Arabic music. Blending tradition with a modern touch, the band combines Arabic melodies with jazz, funk, North African folklore, and Mediterranean rhythms to create a fresh and captivating sound. For this special evening, Mosaïc presents an acoustic quartet format.
Dj Süperfly
[DE] Aufgewachsen in zwei „Funky Towns“ – München und Istanbul – erforscht Süperfly aka Tuncay Acar die tiefsten Tiefen des Norientalismus, indem er permanent die Grenzen von kulturellen, ethnischen, geographischen, chronologischen und fiktiven Regionen und musikalischen Genres überschreitet.
[EN] Growing up in two «Funky Towns» Munich and Istanbul, Tuncay Acar aka Süperfly explores the innermost depths of norientalism by permanently crossing the boundaries of cultural, ethnic, geographical, chronological, fictional regions, and musical genres.
Malèke (DJ-Set)
[DE] Malèke Msallem ist eine Kultur/Kunst interessierte, die ursprünglich aus Tunesien stammt. Sie wurde schon immer durch die Liebe zum Mittelmeer und ihre Kultur inspiriert.
[EN] Malèke is a Munich-based cultural enthusiast who loves to share her favorite music as a DJ set. Originally from Tunisia, she is inspired by her connection to the Mediterranean and its cultural landscape. With roots stretching across North Africa, her selections are shaped by a range of traditions and sounds she encountered from an early age. She brings together elements of folk, funk, and other rhythms influenced by these backgrounds. Engaged with Munich’s cultural scene, Malèke approaches music as a way to share personal references and create a space for exchange.
