Genres are melting under the pressure of a young generation, that is redefining old statutes and will be seen as a trailblazer for a new found freedom in Jazz. We will continue to open doors into every universe of this ongoing process and invite you to become witness and part of it. If you think you know Jazz, forget everything and come by. For visual enlightenment we have Studio Auge with a live performed video synthesis light-show. Come together brothers, sisters and diverse siblings and… JAZZTIFY!

Cats & Breakkies
[EN] Cats & Breakkies are four young Berliners with jazz in their hearts and techno in their genes. In classic band formation – electric guitar, bass, drums, keys – they rock an instrumental DJ live set on stages, floors and festivals at any time. Always danceable, with the courage for elegiac melodies, opulent breaks and lush pads, they convince above all through the precision in the build-up of tension and the sonic expanse of their arrangements.
[DE] Cats & Breakkies, das sind vier junge Berliner mit Jazz im Herzen und Techno in den Genen. In klassischer Band-Besetzung – E-Gitarre, Bass, Schlagzeug, Keys – rocken sie jederzeit ein instrumentales DJ-Live-Set auf Bühnen, Floors und Festivals. Immer tanzbar, mit Mut zu elegischen Melodien, opulenten Breaks und satten Flächen überzeugen sie vor allem durch die Präzision im Spannungsaufbau und die klangliche Weite ihrer Arrangements.
