[DE] Die niederländischen Zeitreisenden MOOON spielen seit 2013 Sixties-Pop, Psych und Beat. Das junge Power-Trio aus Brabant, bestehend aus den Brüdern Tom und Gijs de Jong, sowie ihrem Cousin Timo van Lierop, entführt den Hörer direkt in das Goldene Zeitalter des Psychedelic Rocks. Ihre authentische Hingabe ist unverkennbar, wenn man sie mit den Meistern von damals vergleicht: The Who, The Monkees, The Small Faces, Status Quo, aber auch weniger bekannte Acts wie The Idle Race, Grapefruit und Strawberry Alarm Clock: Sie alle sind in MOOON’s musikalischer DNA enthalten. Die Band präsentiert nun ihr drittes Album ,“III“, mit catchy Garage & bluesigem Hard Rock. Steigt ein in die Zeitmaschine!
[EN] Dutch time travelers MOOON are playing Sixties Pop, Psych and Beat music since 2013. The young Brabant power trio, consisting of brothers Tom and Gijs de Jong and their cousin Timo van Lierop, takes the listener directly to the Golden Age of psychedelia. Their authentic dedication is unmistakable when compared to the heroes from back in the day: The Who, The Monkees, The Small Faces, Status Quo but also less famous acts like The Idle Race, Grapefruit and Strawberry Alarm Clock: they’re all in MOOON’s musical DNA. The band now presents their third album, „III“, featuring catchy Garage & bluesy Hard Rock. Get in that time ship!
Lyca
[DE] Gegründet 2021 in Füssen konnte sich die 6-köpfige Band Lyca schnell als feste Größe in der lokalen Musikszene etablieren. Im Kern eine Psychedelic Rock-Combo mit klarer Anlehnung an die 60er Jahre, gepaart mit tanzbaren Latin Rock, insbesondere durch Salsa- sowie Cumbia-Grooves. Rotierende Rhythmen und kantige Melodien schwellen dabei immer zu neuen Höhepunkten der Ekstase an und lassen eure Hüften schwingen.
[EN] Founded in Füssen in 2021, the 6-piece band Lyca quickly established itself as a fixture in Southern Germany. At its core, it is a psychedelic rock combo with clear nods to the 60’s and 70’s, paired with danceable Latin rock, especially with salsa and cumbia grooves. Rotating rhythms and intriguing melodies swell to new heights of ecstasy and get your hips swaying.
