Mitsune is a Japanese neo-folk fusion band based in Berlin, with members hailing from Japan, Australia, Germany and Greece. Fronted by a powerful trio of female shamisen players, accompanied with percussion and double bass, Mitsune take their love of Japanese folk music and infuse it with psychedelic, jazz and cinematic influences to create an evocative music fusion experience.

Nebenher spielt er häufig mit Bands wie den Allah-Las, Okta Logue, Moon Duo, Damo Suzuki & Embryo und ist sowohl bei Münchens berüchtigten „Psychedelic Porn Funk“ Partys, als auch beim Red Light Radio in Amsterdam und beim online Radio dublab.de ein regelmäßiger Gast. Nicht umsonst landete sein Live-Set von der Karl Kutter Stage auf dem Fusion Festival 2019 unter den Top 5 Mixen des Jahres bei Ask Helmut und dem Rolling Stone Magazine.
