In the ever-evolving world of music, SHKOON continues to tell a story that bridges cultures, emotions, and time. Since their collaboration began in 2015, when Ameen from Syria and Thorben from Germany crossed paths in Hamburg, SHKOON has risen to the forefront of Arab electronica, captivating audiences worldwide with their unique sound. What started as a simple love for music and storytelling has grown into a movement of unity and connection. Their debut album Rima in 2019 introduced SHKOON’s celestial journey— a blend of Arabic folklore, heartfelt lyrics, and western electronic influences. It set the stage for their evolution, which included a string of standout singles and EPs. In 2022, the live album FIRAQ captured the emotional depth of their music, followed by their concept album Masrahiya („Theater Play“), a groundbreaking exploration of the blurred lines between reality and fiction. Guided by a spirit of musical diplomacy, SHKOON believes in the power of music to build bridges and offer new perspectives. In a world increasingly marked by division, their compositions serve as a reminder of our shared humanity. Through spontaneous and heartfelt performances, SHKOON creates a space where every emotion is welcome— a place to laugh, cry, reflect, and come together.
