TNY.28 – Night of Cumbia and Brazilian Funk

Get ready for Tony Zaros iconic birthday party and Art-Venissage Night!

First up, BIGU a Dj from São Paulo will get the party started. Then dive into the sounds of Cosmica Bandida, a Colombian cumbia band that will for sure make you remember them. After the concert, the amazing DJ Sonalie Solar will be going strong with a mix of Tech music and Baile Funk, and last, to close the night, Klebsch will be blending some old school Funk with an electronic selection.

Sonalie Solar

Aufgewachsen zwischen Opernbühne und brasilianischen Rhythmen, mixt Sonalie Solar Latin Tech House und Latin Core zu purem Dancefloor-Glück. Ihre Sets spiegeln die Bandbreite brasilianischer Musik wider – von warmen, melodischen Vocals bis zu harten, treibenden Baile-Funk-Rhythmen, verwoben mit elektronischen Basslines. Von den Raves im Ahrtal hinter die Decks – mit 16 der Traum, jetzt Realität. In München hat sie ihre Homebase in der Techno-Szene gefunden und bespielt die Clubs der Stadt – sowie internationale Floors in Mexiko, Paris und der Schweiz. Ihr Sound ist ein Euphorisiakum aus weichen Sommer-Vibes und bounciger, energiegeladener Härte – gemacht für ekstatische Nächte.

Ruby Tuesday bringt mit ihren Avantgarde Performances die Bühnen zum Beben. Die schamlose Rebellin vereint detailverliebte Darbietungen mit außergewöhnlichen Kostümen, einem expressiven Performancestil und göttlichem Bühnenmakeup. Da aller guten Dinge bekanntlich drei sind, verschmelzen bei Ruby Burlesque, Drag und Feuer zu einer köstlich hedonistischen Mischung voller Sinnlichkeit und Emotionen.

Cosmica Bandida

COSMICA BANDIDA is a Colombian-German duo blending hypnotic rhythms, raw energy, and cosmic textures into the sonic spirit of tropical psychedelia. With analog disco synthesizers, Colombian cumbia grooves, Peruvian chicha echoes and electric beats, their sound is both primal and futuristic. Their live performances are immersive rituals where distorted guitars, looping melodies, and deep percussion intertwine with thumping basslines, engaging both the body and the guts.

DJ Klebsch, is a sonic alchemist renowned for his thunderous low-end pressure, intricate breakbeat wizardry, and deep dubwise sensibilities. His sound is a relentless fusion of jungle’s frenetic energy, dub’s cavernous echoes, and the raw punch of breakbeat hardcore. On his sets, he crafts a seismic journey through half-time dread, amen-driven chaos, and sub-bass that rattles the spine. Swirling delays, distorted Reese lines, and chopped jungle breaks collide with ghostly vocal snippets and norm-bending glitches, creating a sound that feels both nostalgic and fiercely forward-thinking.
