The most legendary Turkish hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s are waiting to take you on a nostalgic musical journey. İpek Özcan (vocals) will guide you through this special night with her powerful voice, while Veys Çolak (electric guitar, vocals) drives the sound forward. They are joined by Çağatay Bırakın (bass) and Kemal Serin (drums), who keep the groove flowing nonstop. Get ready for a night full of dancing, energy and memories that will linger long after the last song.
Turkish Retro Night
[ENG] Turkish Retro Night (TRN) is a psychedelic retro pop-rock band consisting of Berlin-based musicians originally from Istanbul. The band was founded by İpek Özcan and Veys Çolak, both of whom are also successful solo artists. İpek Özcan is a talented singer and musician who has gained strong recognition through her solo work and established herself as a distinctive voice in the alternative music scene. Veys Çolak is an experienced guitarist and musician with successful solo projects and many years of live performance experience. Live on stage, TRN reinterprets beloved Turkish retro songs from the 80s, 90s and 2000s, while their studio recordings lean more towards a psychedelic sound. The band has released tracks such as Zühtü, Şamata, Hay Hay and Yalancı Dünyaya Konup Göçenler. The project can also be found online under the name “Derdibol” on digital platforms. The European tour continues.
[DE] Turkish Retro Night (TRN) ist eine Psychedelic-Retro-Pop-Rock-Band, bestehend aus in Berlin lebenden Musiker*innen aus Istanbul. Gegründet wurde die Band von İpek Özcan und Veys Çolak, die beide auch als Solokünstler erfolgreich tätig sind. İpek Özcan ist eine talentierte Sängerin und Musikerin, die mit ihren Soloarbeiten große Aufmerksamkeit erregt und sich als starke Stimme in der alternativen Musikszene etabliert hat. Veys Çolak ist ein erfahrener Gitarrist und Musiker mit erfolgreichen Solo-Projekten und langjähriger Bühnenerfahrung. Live interpretiert TRN beliebte türkische Retro-Songs aus den 80er, 90er und 00er Jahren neu, während ihre Studioaufnahmen einen stärker psychedelischen Charakter haben. Die Band veröffentlichte unter anderem die Songs Zühtü, Şamata, Hay Hay und Yalancı Dünyaya Konup Göçenler.
